Best of luck to Darragh Brohan this weekend as he contests the u/14 Boys Shot Putt at the Community Games National Track & Field Finals in Carlow.

Darragh took the gold medal in June at the Clare County competition which earned him a place in the National Final!

Our very own Carmel Adams is proudly representing Tubber National School once again this year in the Mayor of the Fair competition.

All funds raised will go towards our new children's play area at the school. If you would like to support Carmel and this wonderful cause, donations can be made using the Revolut number provided, or you may meet Carmel herself or some of the children from the school while out and about over the fair weekend.

Junior Room Trip to Corofin Library and Corofin -Burren National Park Information Point

Our Junior Room had a wonderful trip to Corofin Library today. A huge thank you to Librarian Aidan for the warm welcome and the engaging Gaeilge story session, which the children thoroughly enjoyed.

The day continued with a lovely visit to Burren National Park Information Point, where the children explored a fascinating collection of artefacts and learned about local wildlife. We were also delighted to see the shark tooth fossil discovered by Phoebe – a very special highlight of the visit!

It was a fantastic opportunity to discover more about our heritage, history, and natural environment. Many thanks to everyone who made this enjoyable and educational trip possible!

Unfortunately, it wasn't to be for our camogie players or hurlers today.

Both teams put in a tremendous effort and represented their school, club, families, and local communities with great pride in Cusack Park. They showed skill, determination, teamwork, and heart from start to finish.

While the results didn't go our way, there is so much to be proud of. Hold your heads up high, you gave it everything and were a credit to yourselves and your supporters.

Thank you to the families, and everyone who came along to cheer the teams on.

Tomorrow is a big day for Tubber N.S as both the girls and boys have made it through to the Cumann na mBunscol Finals in Cusack Park. This is the first time ever that both teams have made it to the finals together. Best of luck to our boys hurling team of Tubber Boston Ballyvaughan Fanore New Quay who take on Lissycasey at 9.30 and our girls camogie team of Tubber Boston New Quay who take on Doora at 11.15 . We would love to see as much support as possible to cheer on the boys and girls. 💛🖤
