Julie The Genie My name is Julie Potter, creator of ‘Julie The Genie. Think of me as your school's very own 'go-to' interior designer.

I specialise in the enhancing of school environments to maximise student and staff wellbeing and performance. Are you proud of your staff and students but the building itself has become 'tired' looking? Do you want your school building to look more attractive and organised, both inside and outside? Have you a new school building with lots of white walls and want to put your schools stamp on it? Would you like to transform some spaces but are just not sure where to start ? If any of these sound like you, don't worry, I got you.

A new wellbeing space . A place for students or staff to sit and absorb the stillness when feeling a little overwhelmed which lets face it is part and parcel of a busy school day.

The light shining through the vinyl of the beach on the window is hard to capture but really effective in person. Beanbags etc to be added.

A fresh new look at St Patrick's National School Drumcondra. There will be girls are joining the previously all boys school this year so there are some big changes!

The new signage shows a visual representation of the values of kindness, respect, belonging and potential in hearts, stars, suns and leaves working their way along the wall where the students enter the building. 🪄💫⭐♥️☀️🍃

Creating an impactful, dynamic feel to the entrance of . From a somewhat tired entrance way to one that reflects the important values that are happening inside the building. 💫🪄

"The Watering hole" learning style is an informal, social space where peers gather to chat, share ideas, and learn from one another.

Based on a concept by educational futurist Dr. David Thornburg, it is one of three archetypal learning spaces—along with the campfire and the cave.

This was my visual interpretation of that space using wall graphics and floor graphics I created.

Often stairwells are forgotten spaces. They get so much use every day that the potential for creating a strong inspirational message on them is huge! This one is no longer a bland overlooked space!
