As schools break for the summer, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who made Super Sevens Slam 2026 our biggest and most successful tournament since commencing in 2011 !

🏀 Nearly 100 teams from Kerry, Cork & Limerick
🗓️ 37 nights of basketball
🏀Almost 300 games.
🏆 16 Finals across four Finals nights

⭐ 16 Finals MVP Awards
🌟 14 All-Star Awards

Congratulations to every Champion, Finalist, MVP and All-Star, and to every player who took to the court this year. Your effort, teamwork, respect and sportsmanship continue to make this tournament something very special.

Thank you also to our referees, table officials, volunteers, coordinators, teachers and school staff who gave their time so generously throughout the tournament.

As another school year ends, we wish all students, teachers and school communities a safe, relaxing and well-deserved summer break.

And just like that, another school year comes to an end!
Today, we bid a fond farewell to our wonderful 6th class pupils as they close one chapter and begin an exciting new one. Thank you for the laughter, friendships, achievements, and memories you have brought to Hollymount NS over the past eight years. You have left your mark on our school, and we are so proud of the young people you have become. We wish you every success and happiness as you embark on your Post Primary journey and the bright future that awaits you. ✨
A sincere thank you to our fantastic Parents Association for their unwavering support throughout the year and for the thoughtful and beautiful gifts presented to staff.
We would also like to extend a special word of thanks to Mrs. O’Connell, Ms. Parker, and our After-School Club team for all their dedication, care, and hard work during the year.
We wish everyone a happy, safe, and sunshine-filled summer! ☀️😎

The Senior Room enjoyed a lovely walking trip to Caherbarnagh River today to cool down and make the most of the wonderful sunshine! It was a fantastic opportunity to get outdoors, enjoy nature, and spend time together.

A big thank you to Fiona for having ice-lollies ready for us on our return, they were the perfect treat on such a warm day! 🍦☀️😎

🚒🔥 What an exciting day at Hollymount NS! Our wonderful friends from Millstreet Fire Station brought their big red fire truck and gave us a fantastic insight into the work of firefighters. We loved trying on the helmets, hearing the siren, and best of all, getting the chance to spray the water hose!

A huge thank you to the firefighters for taking the time to visit us, teach us about fire safety, and make the day so memorable. You certainly brought lots of smiles to our faces! 👨‍🚒👩‍🚒
