Just a gentle reminder that ‘The Magic of Puppets’ is happening in just 16 days and that bookings will close in 8 days.

Niamh Lawlor is a master puppeteer and actor and an absolutely brilliant facilitator. She has over 30 years of experience working with puppets.
By the end of the course, you'll walk away with a whole new appreciation for the power of puppetry.
You will learn:
How to create your own puppet, using simple recyclable material
How to bring a puppet to life
Techniques to tell stories using puppets, creatively and meaningfully, and emotionally. Practical skills in voice, movement, and character work.
(Note: You dont' have to be good at art!)
If you’re interested in this course, and would like to have a day off from the your normal Saturday of jobs, phones and drab responsibilities, I invite you to step into the world of pure imagination, have fun, and all in a supportive group. We’ll all be newbies, including me! I’ve never worked with puppets, but I’m so looking forward to it, because I think that having a puppet is kinda like wearing a mask. It allows us to become someone else, just for one day.

We’re planning a theatre outing to see “The Cave” by Kevin Barry Abbey Theatre The Abbey Theatre on June 9th at 7:30 pm. The production features an outstanding cast including Tommy Tiernan, Aaron Monaghan, and Judith Roddy. Book a ticket and come along! We’ll meet for a drink at the bar from 7 pm beforehand.
