🚦🚲 Happy National Beep Beep Day 🛴🚸

The children had great fun today practising their road safety skills! We brought in our bikes and scooters today. We practised using the zebra crossing, stopping at the red light and following the rules of the road.

Of course, it wasn't all plain sailing! 😂 Some of us failed to stop at the red light a few times, a few drivers were taken off the road, others received suspended sentences, and there were even a few penalty points handed out for speeding!!! 🚔👮‍♂️

But with a little practice, plenty of excitement and lots of laughs, our little road users got the hang of it in the end! 🙌

Our sustainability project is coming along nicely. James from O Shea's farm, kindly dropped us in some supplies last week. We got some pallets, tubes and crates. The children had a look through everything and started planning what we could use the materials for. We’re going to create some outdoor fun and all designed by the children themselves. To us it maybe rubbish but to the children it could a "telescope 🔭 a tunnel forr their cars or they could roll a ball through it. We could attach them to make a bridge. "Their ideas are endless.

We are exploring Autumn at the moment. 🍂 over the last few weeks, we all brought in supplies to to put on our nature table. We designed our own pictures using the materials we gathered. We have some creative minds 🍁🌿🍂
