Heroic footballers do Peterswell proud!

Well done to our football team who competed brilliantly in today's Garda 7s tournament!

First up was a tough match with Ballinderreen NS with Peterswell winning out on a scoreline of 2-03 to 2-00. This put us up against a talented Lough Cutra team in round 2 and Lough Cutra had the better of the first half. Peterswell dug in during the 2nd half claiming a one point win on a 2-01 to 1-03 scoreline.

This put the team into the A semi final against Killeeneen NS. The team battled brilliantly with only a point separating the teams at half time. Killeeneen put on a great 2nd half display to claim the win but our side worked hard all the way to the end.

Well done all!!

Lots of STEM fun and learning in Ms Howleys room this week!

The class worked on smoothie making using blackberries collected from the local area. They designed their own cups and had great fun working on their recipes!

Most important of all, they had a tasty and healthy drink to enjoy at the end of their work!

Well done all!!
