Sadly, I couldn't make European Wool Day last week as I was still lambing, but I made this brief video with some lambing-time wool 'tips' (pun intended... if you know, you know)...

Congratulations, Steph 🥳 A wonderful and very worthy recipient.

Sometimes we're asked if we can make something special using the wool from a specific flock of sheep. The answer is always yes.

This coffin topper was made using Welsh Mountain wool from the family's personal flock and hay from their own meadow.

The woven nest was designed around their love of birds and the ancient oak woodland they worked so hard to have protected.

The nest was filled with snowdrops from their own garden in place of more traditional funeral flowers.

The request was to make something organic and imperfect "because that's who we are".
