Our Team

Owner and Director

Alison Curtin graduated from the University of Limerick where she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Irish Music & Dance in 2016. She qualified as a post-primary teacher in 2018 from the University of Limerick where she completed her Masters Degree in Music Education. Alison has also received her QQI Level 5 & 6 in Special Needs Assisting. Alison has toured England with

the Irish Rambling house on many occasions as well as having the opportunity to perform at Siamsa Tíre. Alison has previously taught Pre-Instrumental music and has six years experience teaching with Comhaltas. She has performed at the University Concert Hall on numerous occasions while attending the University of Limerick. She has been playing music for over 20+ years. She plays the button accordion, tin whistle, concertina and sings. She has extensive experience working with children, youths and adults. Alison is passionate about music, and believes every student can find expression through music in some way. She believes it is essential to help students grow and learn and through performance music can enrich their life experience in meaningful ways.

🎶 Tin Whistle Class in Action! 🎶

Our Beginner Level 2 Tin Whistle class practicing their tunes during class. They have been learning “Terry Teahan’s Polka” and are making fantastic progress.

One of our students, Aisling, headed off to school today for World Book Day with an amazing creation! Aisling, who attends guitar lessons with Áine, absolutely loves playing guitar and is inspired by Taylor Swift.
