Earthquake Detected in CBS New Ross! 🌋
Our new Raspberry Shake seismometer has picked up a 6.9‑magnitude earthquake in Chile - an incredible 10,400 km away from New Ross!

Thanks to our link with DIAS and the Irish National Seismic Network, students can now see real‑time seismic activity from across the globe, right from our school.

Amazing real life geography happening in CBS New Ross — and this is only the beginning. 📡✨ Thanks to Ms. Murphy and the Geography department for sharing this fascinating information!

🎶 Huge congratulations to Ellie Rose in 3rd Year on winning 1st Prize in the Girls Under 16 Solo Competition at the AIMS Choral Festival junior events yesterday! 🏆👏

Everyone at CBS New Ross is incredibly proud of this fantastic achievement. Ellie Rose is a valued member of our school music community, regularly contributing to choir and musical performances with dedication, talent and enthusiasm.

We are also looking forward to seeing her take to the stage as Sandy in our upcoming production of Grease! 🌟🎭
