AFTERSCHOOL ASSISTANTS

We are a Pre-School in Murrisk, offering breakfast, ECCE morning sessions and afternoon childcare during school term times.

We are looking for afterschool assistants to work Monday to Thursday between 12-4.30pm. (more hours will be available from September 2024)

Roles & Responsibilities:
• To work with children aged from 2 ½ up to 11 years old.
• To accompany children from the national school to our setting.
• To supervise and engage in the children’s play, indoors and outdoors.
• Assist with planning and implementation of age appropriate and stimulating activities.
• To work as part of a team, reporting to the manager.
• To supervise mealtimes.
• To maintain appropriate safe and clean working environments.

The idea candidates will have an early year’s qualification but not this is not essential.
Must have some experience working with children or enthusiastic and willing to learn and have fun.
