Representative Rugby News 🗞️🏉

It’s been an incredibly busy few weeks for many of our students who have represented Leinster, Connacht & a number of Midlands groups.

🔵:We begin with Caoimhe OM who has lined out for Leinster the last 3 weekends in games against Munster, Connacht & Ulster. Caoimhe can look forward to the Interpro final next Saturday in Mullingar with a time to be confirmed.

🔵:Eabha OM enjoyed a run out with Connacht senior ladies last weekend against their Leinster counterparts. An incredible achievement for Eabha who had trained with Leinster senior women throughout the summer.

🔵:Channing started at No 10 yesterday as the Leinster U18 Clubs defeated Connacht 26.19 in round 2 of the Interprovincial series. A win over Munster next weekend in Donnybrook would see Leinster crowned champions.

🔵:Michael, Jack & Ernest were in action for North Leinster U17s last week playing games against Connacht, Munster & Ulster in a blitz format in Mullingar.

🔵:Lyra H and Ciara W were in action for the Midlands 17s last week as they prepare for round 1 of the Sarah Robinson Cup.

🔵:Finally, Harry W had his first game for the Midlands 16s last week as they played North Midlands in a friendly, Harry is pictured with his friend Cillian who he went to primary school with.

Wilsons Hospital School is delighted to congratulate all our students in the Leaving Certificate Class of 2026 on their results. One student achieved the outstanding top score of 625 points, while 23% of students achieved over 500 points and 33% achieved over 450 points. The school is very proud of the hard work and achievements of the class. The school and Board of Management wish all students every success and happiness in their future endeavours.
