What a lovely last day to end a brilliant year; full of learning, laughter and lots of new adventures.
We started with a pizza party, then we had a lovely recap on our year. We also presented children with awards for the Pioneer Competition and the .Comhghairdeas to all. We wish all our children and their families a wonderful summer break. Thank you for all your support throughout the year.

Feeling hot, hot hot!!! 🔥What a day, the heat didn't stop these kiddies from having an amazing sports day yesterday!! 🥳We had a joint sports Day with St Michael's NS Castletown Finea and what great fun we all had. We had potatoes, oranges, eggs , apples and even onions for our "egg and spoon race". 🥚🥄Great team work in the 3 legged race and lots of tumbles and giggles in the wheelbarrow race.
Thanks so much to Castletown Finea Coole Whitehall GFC for letting us hold our sports day at the pitch.. it was perfect. We even had some parachute games on their new pitch. Very lucky to have this amazing facility in our community.
Thank you to Séan from Klaaskickz for setting up a wonderful day for us all.
And of course to finish off our day .. the jingle of the ice-cream van caught every child and adult's attention. Yummy!

Comhghairdeachas to Noah and Amber on their fantastic achievements of coming 3rd in accordion u10 and 2nd in the solo singing u12 in the Westmeath CCÉ Fleadh.

Our lovely play centre arrived today from Garden Play Ireland . It looks amazing and the children did not waste anytime playing on it once installed.
Watching all our children from infants to 5th class playing together on it is just so special to see!!🥹
We are certainly sliding into the weekend!!

We had a wonderful day with Annette from . We went on a lovely walk to Sailor's Garden and discovered lots of beautiful floral and fauna, including cowslip, irish bluebells, speedwell, horsetail,garlic mustard, gorse along with frogs, ladybirds, swans,coots and many more. We also think we discovered an otter's slide. We are so lucky to have this on our doorstep to discover and enjoy. We love to see how Sailor's Garden's flora and fauna changes with the passing of the seasons. Thanks again to Annette for a very informative visit.

Another big day in St. Mary's National School Finea , congratulations to Harry who recieved his First Holy Communion last Sunday. We are so proud of you Harry. The ceremony was beautiful; the readings and prayers were read brilliantly, the singing and music was lovely. Thank you to everyone who helped in making this day so special.
