💚A Valuable Addition to Our Community 💚

We are pleased to share that a new defibrillator has been installed outside the gate of The Crayon Box and is now accessible to the local community in the event of an emergency.

Having a defibrillator nearby can make a vital difference during a cardiac emergency and we are proud to play a small part in helping to keep our children, families, staff and the wider community safer.

We hope it is never needed, but we are grateful to have this life-saving equipment available should the need arise. ⛑️

Our newest additions to our outdoor areas just in time for summer☀️ A fabulous built sand pit and 3 mud kitchens have been a huge hit with all the children🏖️ From baking muddy cupcakes to digging, scooping, pouring and creating, the children are learning through play in every way❤️

For each month our social committee meet up and plan something fun for all the staff for the month ahead.

For the month of April they came up with the idea for each room to make a colour themed snack board. The winner would be picked by the end of the month by the office and kitchen staff. The winners will receive a free lunch bought for all staff within the winning room.
Each room took a week each and the colours of each room are as follows:
Baby room= ❤️
Toddler room 1=💚
Toddler room 2=💛
Preschool= 💙

And the winner is……….

Congratulations to the girls in Toddler room 1 for a spectacular basket, they really thought of everything👏🏻👏🏻 from the fruits to the green coffees there was something for everyone 💚

Our new solar panels installed on our roof this week! What a great week to be putting them in with all this lovely sunny weather ☀️☀️
