Happy 1st Birthday to The Crayon Box!!🎂🎉🥳

Today marks one incredible year since we opened our doors and what an amazing journey it has been!❤️

We are so grateful to all of our wonderful children, families and dedicated staff who have made this first year so special for us. ✨✨Thank you for trusting us to be part of your little ones’ early years and for all the support, smiles, laughter and memories we’ve shared along the way. Here’s to many more memories togther!🥹

💚A Valuable Addition to Our Community 💚

We are pleased to share that a new defibrillator has been installed outside the gate of The Crayon Box and is now accessible to the local community in the event of an emergency.

Having a defibrillator nearby can make a vital difference during a cardiac emergency and we are proud to play a small part in helping to keep our children, families, staff and the wider community safer.

We hope it is never needed, but we are grateful to have this life-saving equipment available should the need arise. ⛑️

Our newest additions to our outdoor areas just in time for summer☀️ A fabulous built sand pit and 3 mud kitchens have been a huge hit with all the children🏖️ From baking muddy cupcakes to digging, scooping, pouring and creating, the children are learning through play in every way❤️

For each month our social committee meet up and plan something fun for all the staff for the month ahead.

For the month of April they came up with the idea for each room to make a colour themed snack board. The winner would be picked by the end of the month by the office and kitchen staff. The winners will receive a free lunch bought for all staff within the winning room.
Each room took a week each and the colours of each room are as follows:
Baby room= ❤️
Toddler room 1=💚
Toddler room 2=💛
Preschool= 💙

And the winner is……….
TODDLER ROOM 1 and their full green menu💚💚💚💚
Congratulations to the girls in Toddler room 1 for a spectacular basket, they really thought of everything👏🏻👏🏻 from the fruits to the green coffees there was something for everyone 💚

Today our staff and children gathered outside to cheer on Jordan and Cian Adams on their marathon run through County Monaghan. They are taking on an incredible challenge to run 32 marathons in 32 days across Ireland to raise awareness and support finding a cure for Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD). The children were out with their posters to wave them on and gave them a big cheer! Well done The FTD Brothers - Jordan Adams💚💚💚

Our new solar panels installed on our roof this week! What a great week to be putting them in with all this lovely sunny weather ☀️☀️

A big step for us here to help us become more environmentally friendly and energy efficient! 🌎 They were installed yesterday on World Earth Day 🌎💚
