Be Breast Aware This page was set up to help raise awareness about breast cancer. It was set up by the Transition Years 2014/15 in the Pres. Sec. School, Mitchelstown.

This page was set up as part of Young Social Innovators to help raise awareness about breast cancer in both men and women. It was set up by the Transition Years in the Presentation Secondary School, Mitchelstown. Our aim is to raise awareness of the fact that men can get breast cancer too. Breast cancer is genderless.

We would like to thank everyone who came to our coffee morning on 11 February. It was a great success and the support from everyone was greatly appreciated. All funds that were raised were for Marymount Hospice and Cork University Hospital cancer unit.

Just a reminder:
We would like to announce that we will be holding a coffee morning next Thursday 11 Feb. from 11am to 3pm at Mitchelstown Leisure Centre. There will be tea, coffee, cakes etc.
We welcome everyone to come along and would really appreciate your support. .
We are holding this coffee morning in aid of Marymount Hospice, to provide decorations and items for rooms for teenagers and also for Cork University Hospital, for a chemotherapy probe.
This is as part of our YSI Be Brest Aware project for this year.
