🌟OIREACHTAS RINCE NA CRUINNE 🌟
We are beyond proud of our wonderful little academy. We brought four Connacht champions to Chicago last week along with four very dedicated mammies 💕
💕💕💕Alannah Robinson, 27th in 11-12 girls with a fabulous 14th place in her slip jig and jumping an amazing 26 places from last year.

💕💕💕Chloe Albers, 16th place in 12-13 girls taking a top ten in your set dance and bringing home a world medalist position.
🌎🌎🌎Theo Lam, 13th place in boys 13-14 in a brilliant boys competition.
🌎🌎🌎Adam McCluskey, 4th place globe winner in the senior men’s competition. There are no words for this brilliant achievement. Adam, you are an absolute ambassador in our school and may every child always look up to and admire your accomplishments in your dancing life, proving all is possible. ❤️❤️❤️
We teach Irish dancing because we love Irish dancing ….. every child is a little gem in our school but to see these dancers travel to Chicago and represent us so greatly is a very proud moment for us, as teachers.
Four dancers……. Two world recall medals, one world medalist and one globe coming home to the west of Ireland ❤️❤️❤️

In senior men’s competition!!!!! There are no words!!!!!!!

We were waiting to post our four brilliant dancers together in the same post but tonight Adam, you exceeded all expectations!!!
4th place in the seniors men’s competition in Oireachtas Rince na Cruinne in Chicago. We knew this was a huge climb…… going from your age group to a phenomenal competition of senior men….. but you did it!!!!
Enjoy all your celebrations!! Sandra, you’re a martyr for the cause…… overcoming those nerves of steel for Adam ###

Oireachtas Rince na Cruinne, 2026…..
Our four dancers and their parents travel to Schaumburg, Chicago this week.
We are so very proud of our four dancers ……. Adam McCluskey, Alannah Robinson, Chloè Albers and Theo Lam. These dancers will fly our Cresham Academy flag so powerfully, representing our academy, Connacht and Ireland as they take to the stage in the most prestigious competition in the world of Irish dancing. 👏👏
From their early steps in Irish dancing to this week…… nerves of steel will be needed, two clear rounds without slips, trips or bumps….. competing against the best in the world. No matter the result…… a win or a loss….. a world medal or not……. Your love of dancing will shine through ❤️❤️❤️
It takes so much effort and time to reach this week but none of this is possible without the support of their parents and families. Some of whom will travel while others watch closely from the live commentary at home.
Louise, you may be glued to live commentary at home but your input into our dancers is invaluable and I will always be so grateful for the hard work and dedication. ❤️❤️❤️

Chloe Albers …. A fantastic 16th place in an amazing girls 12-13 competition 👏👏👏
Alia Albers ….. 38th place in girls 15-16, taking 13th and 5th in your heavy and light solo recall 👏👏👏
And our gorgeous lady in red, Cara Caulfield who danced so brilliantly on Wednesday ❤️❤️❤️

The Cresham Academy of Irish Dancing would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended our table quiz in Louisburgh last Friday night. It was a huge success.
In particular Darragh and the staff of McNamara’s Bar, Regina and of course Michael Davitt for helping us with this event. A special mention to those who sent donations in lieu of the event, we appreciate it all. Lastly a huge thank you to all the local businesses that gave us spot prizes, your generosity was amazing.
