Hi guys long time no post! We have received a message from a group that arranges online grinds looking for fully qualified teachers in Ireland for some online grinds. It would be at the end of the month and also in 2022. They are looking for all subjects but in particular it’s French, Maths, Irish and English. The pay is €120 for a three hour grind and €50 for a one hour grind. It might suit some of our followers to make a little money at this time of year! Comment below if interested or send us a DM and we will pass it on! Happy Christmas everyone 😄

Hi everyone, looking for some help and advice. I’m sitting my TEG exam soon Meánleibheál 1. I only have the oral component part to complete for Marino college PME
Has anyone had experience with the oral?
There’s a section on coinní & socruithe and I’m totally confused by this question. Do they ask this in the oral? What’s the point of it.

Question sent in:

Hi does anyone know if the new rules for getting into HIbernia primary teaching will apply to me? It says we now need a minimum C3 or a H7 in maths to get into the course. They told me on the phone because I did my leaving cert in 2011 this did not apply to me and was only for students sitting the leaving cert now but I’m worried that can’t be correct. I have a D in the old maths course and I’m worried this will not be enough. Can anyone help I’m panicking! Thanks everyone.

Hello I was wondering would you post this annoymously please.

I am in first year PME of primary teaching and I am eager to do some subbing. I am registered with the Teaching Council. I am enquiring are there many jobs for unqualified subs in North West of Donegal at the moment. I have no experience subbing however I have experience working in schools voluntary as an assistant to teachers and observing. Any advice would be much appreciated. I do not have many contacts in this field and want to know the best approach to gaining even a day or two of subbing.
