Today the Junior and Senior infant classes enjoyed a visit from Aisleen Harte a former preschool owner, Early Years Educator, Children’s Life Coach & mentor and local author of “My Voice, My Choice”, a book empowering children’s voices now in the hope that they have the ability to use it in the future 📚

Aisleen started with a reading of the book, followed by some engaging arts and crafts around the theme of the book which they all enjoyed!

📣 Tomorrow, between approximately 11am–12pm, the FTD Brothers will be passing through Newtownforbes as part of their incredible charity run supporting the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland.

Our Junior Infants to 2nd Class pupils will be out along Corryline to cheer them on and show support for this amazing cause. Senior students and the Student Council are also getting involved by helping with water, food and first-aid stations, creating music and atmosphere, and even running alongside the FTD Brothers with the 3rd–6th classes. 🏃‍♂️🎶👏
We’re hoping to make Newtownforbes one of the most memorable and supportive stops on their journey!
