Host Families Needed for Term 2!

Are you thinking about hosting an international student in your home? Now is the perfect time to get in touch!

We are currently looking for welcoming host families in County Clare for students arriving for Term 2.

Hosting an international student is a wonderful opportunity to:
🌍 Welcome a new culture into your home
🗣️ Share everyday Irish family life
🤝 Build a lasting connection with a young person from another country
✨ Give a student a safe, supportive and memorable experience of Ireland

Students are aged 14–16 and attend local schools. As a host family, you are fully supported throughout the student's stay, with regular follow-up and ongoing local support from MLC.

You don't need to be a "perfect" family — we're simply looking for friendly, caring families who can provide a safe and welcoming home.

I'm delighted that our first host family appeal has been published in the Kilkee Parish Newsletter.

This September, international students from across Europe will be arriving in County Clare to attend , and we're looking for a few more welcoming families to help make their Irish experience unforgettable.
