Weekly members meetings are on every Wednesday at 7PM. New members of all genders welcome!

The aims of our society are:
• To create a safe environment to for members to share their opinions and explore the meaning of feminism.
• To bring awareness to feminist issues to the UL campus community.
• To practice intersectional feminism which acknowledges all the societal factors which combine to affect different individuals’ experience of oppression; not everyone suffers sexism in the sa

me manner with race, ethnicity, class, sexual orientation, gender and level of able-bodiedness contributing to one’s experience.

Hi everyone!
Hope you all had a lovely summer, it's so exciting that everyone is back at college now!

Just a few announcements for the start of the new semester:
Tonight is our Virtual Recruitment Drive, myself, Emma and Molly will be manning it for new members but if any present member want to pop on and say hi, please do!

We will be having our AGM on Wednesday September 29th. A number of positions on Committee will need to be filled and a plan needs to be made for the year going forward. I will post more information about this in the coming days.

Our first meeting will be September 22nd! The powers that be have come back with clarifications on restrictions at last so it could possibly, MAYBE, be an in person meeting, YAY! I should have more info later today on that.

Hey everyone! Hope we all survived the end of college! Sorry for the radio silence, but we'll be back for one last Wednesday night meeting tomorrow night at the usual time (7pm)!!! Bring a bottle of wine, bring some cans, and we can have ourselves a nice little send off!

Hey everyone! We're working on a video with Student Life for Sexual Assault Awareness Month and we need as many selfies of UL students (and staff!) as we can for a montage at the end with the message . You can make a sign, hold up a post it,write it on your hand or even record a short video of you saying it. Send it into [email protected] by Thursday, and if you're in any clubs or societies, please spread it around to them and to people on your course, favourite lecturers, etc 💜💜💜

International Women's Day is tomorrow!! We are so excited to be hosting an Instagram Live Q&A with Limerick City Cllr Elisa O'Donovan!!!!
The theme for this year is , plus tomorrow is also the day nominations for the 2021 Sabbatical Officer elections open. So we're taking this opportunity to chat to Elisa about her experience as a public representative, addressing gender ratios, and get some tips on how to start an election campaign!!
