Well, great day down at southside with the Ireland team, new kit looks 🔥 and ticked off a huge goal of mine in the process 255kg/562lbs squat. Even went for a wee unintended siesta after 😅🤣 need a touch deeper for comp standards though.

Can't wait to hit Portugal with these lads, they really get the best out of you!

150kg/331lbs ×2 bench

240kg/529lbs deadlift

Good bench session last night, things going in the right direction.

160kg/353lbs to the chest

170kg/375lbs to a makeshift one board

180kg/397lbs to a makeshift two board.

Plus the last warm up.

There's nothing quite like proving something to yourself.

Yesterday consisted of 210kg/463lbs for a triple but wasn't satisfied with that so added 10 for a double 220kg/485lbs, something that was my max not too long ago and normally something I'd have never thought of doing 😂

I also never thought my deadlift would improve the way it has been as of late, but here we are.

Finally back in the mono with a top squat of 245kg/540lbs last night.

Buckled slightly under the 240kg hence the band but it was extremely light just wanted to tidy it up.

20kg sumo PB last night out of nowhere, ending on a 220kg/485lbs pull. Looked fairly nice too.

Would be good to pull 500lbs sumo now putting both sumo and conventional over that mark, something I thought would never happen, currently 10kg under my best conventional pull and 2.5kg more than I've pulled conventional in comp.

Happy with last night, getting some weight in the hand again and with still so much more to give 170kg/375lbs to a 2 board.

225kg/496lbs for an easy single on squat and 120kg/265lbs for 8s on bench. Everything going in the right direction.

A special one last night, 15kg PB and it moved like a bullet - 235kg/518lbs.

Not too happy with the depth it was definitely high but considering it was my first proper session with the wraps tight and on the straight bar in easily months, there's not much room for complaints.

Road to becoming less bad is going alright 😅

Very nice session tonight 220kg on the SSB with a fairly medium wrap and some back offs *insert high squat comment* lol
