🕷️❤️ Dear Preschool Parents, ❤️🕷️
As we come to the end of two weeks of pure joy and excitement, building on our emergent interest in superheroes, we had a very special surprise… Spider-Man came to visit! 🕷️✨
He came to present the children with their certificates for all their amazing superhero training over the past few weeks! 🏆🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️
This is such a wonderful example of how adults can scaffold children’s emerging interests. Leandro, Varsha and the children have built on this interest every day through planned activities, listening to the children’s voices, conversations and excitement, creating a world that has become an all-consuming and truly holistic learning experience.
You can see just how excited the children were by their unexpected special visitor! 😍

☀️🌿 Wobbler room! 🌿☀️
Last week, the Wobbler Room made the most of the lovely weather by extending our learning outdoors also! 💚
The children also enjoyed gluing, sticking and sensory play, developing their fine motor skills, creativity, concentration and confidence while having lots of fun exploring. 🎨🖐️✨
We love seeing how much learning can happen through play 🌈☀️

🌈 A Snapshot of Our Toddler Rooms! 🎨
Our little artists have been busy exploring, creating and having lots of fun! 🖌️✨ The children have created beautiful art pieces using a variety of materials and techniques, including hand painting, painting with bottles, and collaborative group painting with paintbrushes.
Alongside their creative experiences, the children are developing their fine motor skills through tracing, early writing activities and playdough. ✏️👐
We love seeing their creativity, confidence and curiosity grow each day! 💕🌟

🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️ Superhero Fun in Our Preschool Room! ⭐
Our preschoolers have had an action-packed and super-fun couple of weeks as they explored the exciting world of Superheroes! 🦸‍♂️✨
The children have been busy getting creative with a variety of arts and crafts activities, along with face painting, drawing and tracing. 🎨🖌️✏️
They also had the chance to put their superhero skills to the test through a series of fun challenges focusing on strength, balance, flying, coordination and aim! 💪⚖️🪽🎯 Along the way, they developed many other important skills while working together, building confidence and, most importantly, having lots of fun!
It has been wonderful to see our little superheroes use their imagination, creativity and determination throughout the week. 🌟💥

Over the past few weeks, our Toddler Rooms have been busy enjoying water play in the garden, picnics with friends, and cooking activities in the classroom. ☀️💦🧺👩‍🍳
These fun, play-based experiences support the Aistear curriculum by promoting well-being, communication, friendships, and learning through exploration.
So many happy memories and lots of learning along the way! ❤️

In our Toddler 1 room, we made the most of the sunshine and spent loads of time outdoors! The children’s imaginations were amazing as our wooden bridge transformed into a pirate ship, with brave sailors and plenty of “walking the plank,” giggles, and fun.

We celebrated a special 3rd birthday, too. Our birthday friend loved wearing his crown while everyone sang Happy Birthday.

Inside, we got creative making Father’s Day presents. Play dough was a big hit as we shaped jellyfish and then brought them to life with painting, each one unique.

Out in the garden, the children had a football match, while some friends, cared for the babies taking them on a relaxing “drive.”

Toddler Room 2 explored the ocean making snorkeling masks and all kinds of fish which were unique to them. They were very busy as they also started to make their fathers day cards and celebrated one of their friends birthdays.
