Mind-blowing news for Open Water swimmers, dippers, SUP'ers, kayakers, surfers and splashers today!

We cannot thank Failte Ireland, Catherine Martin T.D. and Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media enough for recognising the need for better open water facilities, and then allocating this huge €19million in funding towards developing them. It's amazing news!

🌊 From today, members north and south of the border can enjoy some significant changes!

Republic of Ireland
➡️ Countywide travel and 20km from home

Northern Ireland
➡️ Clubs can train together in groups of up to 15

These changes allow many to return to Open Water for the first time since last year, so we have some timely advice.

Getting all set for Sea Swimming 2021

Five and a half months have passed since our members swam in their home pool due to Covid19. The doors were opened on September 1st to the delight of all swimmers, parents and coaches. Everyone is adapting well to the new rules and regulations and all are feeling very safe under the new system.

Squad numbers are limited. Waiting lists apply for most squads.
