Today, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and best wishes to two Powerhouses of our school community as they move on to the next chapter of their journeys.

After an incredible 33 years of dedicated service, we bid a fond farewell to Mrs Martina Sexton who is retiring. Over the years, she has touched the lives of countless pupils, supported families, and contributed so much to the life of our school. We are deeply grateful for the care, commitment, and passion she has shown throughout the years.

We also wish Mrs Clare Linnane every success as she takes up her new position in Mullagh National School. While we are sad to see her leave, we are excited for this new opportunity and know that she will bring the same enthusiasm, dedication, and kindness that have made such a positive impact here in Bansha.

Both teachers have played an important role in shaping our school community, and their contributions will not be forgotten. On behalf of the Parents Association, staff, pupils and the wider school community, thank you for everything you have done.

We wish you both every happiness, good health, and success in the years ahead.

You will always be part of our school family.

🥎 ⚽️ SPORTS DAY 2026 🏐⚽️

The children had a fantastic time taking part in the various races and activities, showing great enthusiasm, determination, and team spirit throughout the day. They had so much fun and even had time for some ice pops and treats for their efforts.

A huge well done to all the children for their energy and participation, and a sincere thank you to their teachers Mrs Sexton and Mrs Linnane for making the day such a success.

Congratulations to these little superstars, Leah,Erin, Muireann and Ava and their team mates from Doonbeg N.S, Shragh N.S and Clohanes N.S. They played Kilrush Primary School today in the Semi final of the Clare Primary Schools Competition.

They now go through to the Finals in Cusack Park on June 9th.

We wish you all the very best and we will be supporting ye all the way.

Congratulations to Muireann and Ava who made their first Holy Communion on Saturday.
Ye were absolutely stunning in your dresses. Your family and friends are so proud of you.
