With it been the busy buds last week, we decided we would have lots of fun before we finished. The busy buds made their father's day craft with Martina, the little acorns paid us a lovely visit, we took a trip to the playground and we celebrated some birthdays with some yummy cake and treats.
There was lots of tears on friday as we said goodbye to our busy buds, but not before doing the congo around the school and having lots of group hugs, as they begin their new journey to primary school.
It has been a fantastic year watching them grow in beautiful independant children. To all the busy buds parents, i would like to thank ye all for the wonderful support throughout the year, for the lovely chats and laughs at the door.
Finally a big thank you to all the busy buds, it was an honour to have shared some wonderful adventures and memories with ye all. Wishing ye all the best as ye continue on to primary school.

As we finished for the summer holidays on friday, we got a lovely surprise from Pat and Liz Hennessy from Hennessy's Nurseries, who kindly paid us a visit during the week and surprised us with some beautiful flowers for the little acorns, busy buds and the teachers. From everyone at Sunshine Kids Kilfinane, we would like to thank ye both so much for this kind gesture.

Thank you all so so much for supporting our bake sale and fundraiser this year which was used for a new community defribillator located on the wall at the entrance to our school. Thanks also to Ger at Ce-Tek medical for all his help, Paddy O Donnell for fitting it this morning and Noreen Magner who kindly offered her time and expertise in giving a first aid and aed training class here in school where 12 individuals from all around the locality participated and all proceeds went also towards the purchase of the unit and heated box. Without everyones help and support this would not be possible❤️

There was lots of fun and games this week as the busy buds took part in their sports day. They had lots of fun taking part in the different games as did the teachers. Afterwards they got presented with their medals and certificates.
We took a lovely walk up town this week and popped into centra to say hello and sing a song. A big thanks to mag for the lovely treat of ice-cream.
We had a lovely visit from one of our mammies this week, who came in to read us some lovely stories. Thank you mary they really enjoyed the books that you read to them.
We also had some fun inside this week as we had a game of football darts, celebrated some birthdays with yummy cake, we had our crazy hair day and ellen treated them to some lovely jelly and ice-cream.
Next week will be our final week of having lots of fun together, before we finish up for the summer holidays and the busy buds finish their journey with us and begin their new one.
