Kildysart Kidz Care & Education Ltd. is a community based Childcare service and is operated as a not for profit company with a board of directors and a committee of parent representatives who meet regularly to discuss issues, support centre management and develop plans for the centre. OUR AIM
We strive to provide a “home from home” environment for the children of our community and surroun
ding areas. We base the care and education of every single thing we do on the same question: “What is best for the child?” Together with our passion for the children and our ‘child-centred’ approach we aim to deliver on our promise to put every child first, every day. It’s our commitment to the children, and it’s our commitment to you the parents of our community. OUR STAFF
Our carefully selected staff are all qualified childcare professionals, who cater for each child’s social, emotional, intellectual, and physical needs, creating a sense of warmth and friendliness. We provide high quality childcare, early education and before & after school care in a child friendly environment which aims to provide peace of mind to parents by enriching the experiences of the children of our community in our care. All our Childcare Assistants have a Fetac Level 5 or above and our Montessori and Preschool Room Leaders have a Fetac level 7 or above qualification. OUR SERVICES

SCHEMES WE OFFER
• ECCE Scheme: The Early Childhood Care & Education Scheme (ECCE) is a Government funded initiative that provides two FREE pre-school years to every child in Ireland between 3-5 years.
• Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE): A universal childcare programme otherwise known as ‘free pre-school’
• Community Childcare Subvention (CCS) : Providing government childcare funding for families in community services
• Training and Employment Childcare (TEC) Programmes: Providing childcare funding support for parents participating in eligible ETB/Solas vocational training courses; Community Employment (CE) programmes or returning to employment. OUR FACILITIES
We reopened on the 4th April 2016. The facility is HSE Registered, Fully Insured and Fire Officer Approved. There is ample parking for drop offs and pick ups. We believe in providing a child friendly environment fostering a “home away from home” setting that is safe, clean and healthy, where children can explore and experience. We cater for children aged 6months-12 years and the environments are designed to consistently encourage each child’s individual development and potential, while encouraging a love of learning. Our facilities include individual rooms for Wobbler, Toddler, Pre-School, Montessori and Before & After-school children to facilitate age appropriate education and activities and all furniture and equipment in the centre is age and stage appropriate. Our facilities also include a social/dining room where children meet for meals and at intervals during the day. This ensures siblings and children of different ages can interact at times during the day. OUTDOOR FACILITIES
Our Outdoor environment allows us to access fresh air most days and facilitates year round outdoor play. The provision of different areas and surfaces allows multiple activities and more than one group to use the outdoors at any one time. Children among other activities enjoy sand and water play, riding bikes, scooters and tractors, ball sports and soft play in our play area. MEALS
We operate a healthy eating policy with all hot meals being freshly prepared in house daily from fresh produce by our chef and are designed to be healthy and meet the nutritional requirements of our children. The weekly menu is posted on the parent notice board and includes a variety of tastes and textures for the children to experience and explore. VISIT US
