😀 👩‍🦽‍➡️🚶‍➡️🏃‍♀️‍➡️🚲Absolutely delighted to get news this morning that Sallins National School is included in Round 5 of the Safe Routes to School Programme.
The initiative supports schools in creating safer and more accessible routes for children walking, wheeling and cycling to school.
The Parents Council and BOM are to be commended, they have continually highlighted how access to the National School needs to be improved. The Walking Bus initiative is hugely popular and will be all the better with a safer route to school. St Laurence's NS, Sallins - Parents Association

Planned Water Outage Uisce Éireann Irish Water Uisce Éireann is carrying out new connection works to the water network in Naas, Co. Kildare. To facilitate these works, a water outage is necessary. Works will take place from 10am until 6pm on Thursday, 17 September 2026, and may result in a disruption of supply or loss of pressure for Uisce Éireann customers in Monread Road, Osberstown, Naas and surrounding areas.

The essential works will facilitate new water connections to the network and support continued growth and development in the area. Following the completion of the works, it can take three to four hours for the normal water supply to return as water refills the network, particularly for those properties on higher ground or at the end of the network.

We apologise for any inconvenience these essential works may cause. Updates can be found on the Uisce Éireann Supply and Service map by entering the following reference number on water.ie: KLD00120622.

Uisce Éireann’s customer care team is available to help 24/7 on 1800 278 278 and customers can also contact us on X with any queries.
