Super excited to start teaching beginner ukulele classes with the KNUCs! Every Monday, from 7-8pm at the new Allenwood Community Centre. Hope to see you there! ☀️🎶

**ADULT BEGINNER UKULELE GROUP CLASSES**

Starting Monday 7th of July, we will be running beginner lessons from 7-8pm in our brand new home, the Allenwood Community Centre (formerly the credit union). Classes are €5 a session, and you are very welcome to stay for the advanced performance group session from 8-10pm for no extra cost.

Classes will be taught by Alison Kiernan Whelan, the KNUCs musical director, conductor and teacher. Alison is studying Music and Media in Maynooth University, and really knows her stuff! She has been playing ukulele for ten years, and has been teaching for three.

These classes are ideal for complete beginners, but people looking to brush up on their ukulele skills will also find them useful. Just remember to bring your own ukulele!

I am so excited to be taking part in this incredible reimagining of 'Cats'! Not only am I playing the role of Tantomile, but I am also the directional captain and lead graphic designer/photographer for our production campaign. ❤️🐈‍⬛

SINGING LESSONS FOR AGES 6-13

My name is Alison, I am studying Music at Maynooth University, and I am offering singing lessons for children aged 6-13. These are one-to-one lessons that take place over a thirty-minute session or a full hour. I specialise in musical theatre and popular vocal styles.

During your child’s lessons, I will teach music theory and technique through learning songs that your child takes interest in. Your child will learn correct breathing skills and healthy vocal techniques, along with many vocal exercises and warm-ups. Along the way, your child will obtain basic keyboard skills and a tonne of self-confidence!
