The pupils of Kilcrohane NS were delighted to welcome Ger O'Leary and Yannis from Bantry Fire Brigade to our school. 🚒🔥

The children learned all about the importance of fire safety, including what to do in the event of a fire, the role of fire alarms, and the importance of the “Stop, Drop and Roll” technique. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed asking questions and hearing all about the work of the fire service.

The visit finished with a close-up look at the fire brigade lorry — and of course, the highlight of the day… an ever so fun soaking from the fire hose! 💦🚒😄

A huge thank you to Ger and Yannis for taking the time to visit our school and for delivering such an engaging, informative and memorable experience for all the children. ❤️

🏐💚 What a fantastic day at Sciath na Scol for the pupils of Kilcrohane NS! 💚🏐

Our pupils displayed wonderful football skills, teamwork, sportsmanship and camaraderie throughout the day. There was some excellent passing, fantastic kicking, and brilliant goals& points scored by all involved, and a win for some. 👏⭐ 🏆

Most importantly, we are incredibly proud of all our pupils. They represented our “small school with a big heart” so wonderfully both on and off the pitch. ❤️🏫

A huge thank you also to the Moms who accompanied us today and to those who were so helpful assisting staff in organising and positioning pupils on the field. Your support and help were very much appreciated. 🙌💛

💚" Cycle Bus" entering the Village! What a great start to the day! 💚

🚴‍♀️🌟 Another hugely successful Cycle Bus Fundraiser at Kilcrohane NS! 🌟🚴‍♂️

Our pupils were up at the crack of dawn this morning, full of energy and excitement for one of the most loved activities in our school calendar! ☀️💛 There was a fantastic atmosphere as children, families and supporters came together to enjoy the cycle back to school. 🚲👏

A huge well done to all involved and sincere thanks to everyone who helped, supported and encouraged the children along the way.
Thank you to each and every person for your very generous and kind donations to support our pupils at KNS. Your community spirit and enthusiasm and support never go unnoticed. ❤️🏫

✨🙏 Our talented pupils were busy creating beautiful First Holy Communion artwork in preparation for their special sacrament on Saturday last. 🎨🕊️

From colourful chalices and crosses ✝️ and to symbolic designs, the children showed wonderful creativity, care and reverence in every piece of art created. 💛

We are so proud of their hard work and the thoughtful way they expressed the importance of this sacred occasion through art.
