☯️How I prioritise my hormonal health and my overall health in daily life✨️
1. Tracking my cycle with sympto-thermal method of NFP so I know where I'm at in my cycle and how my hormones are behaving. It allows me to not have to be on hormonal birth control!
2. Spending time outside getting sunlight and fresh air, increasing my walks each week is a big goal for me!🚶♀️
3. I try to get to the gym 3 times per week to strength train as this is extremely important for our health as women💪 bone health, hormone balance, sugar balance, muscle growth.
4. As a reflexologist, I know the incredible benefits of reflexology for health and especially hormonal health so I try to add some self care reflexology and Yoga into my routine each week (when I remember) or go for a session with another practitioner 👣
5. My nose is always in this wonderful book Real Food for Fertility by & . A wealth of knowledge from these ladies on all things menstrual cycle and diet. Highly recommend if you want to prioritise your Fertility for future family planning and/or if you struggle with hormone related issues📖
6.Swapping out highly processed sugary drinks and food for yummy alternatives like this collagen hot coco
☕️( ⬅️receipe from the real food for the fertility book)
7. Planning to purchase new book in which she shares many great alternatives in grocery stores so that we can make better choices without needing to be on a highly restricted diet🤗
8. Reducing my caifein intake as this can have an effect on the hormonal response and on sleep, which I am trying to get better with, too! 🛌 I still have tea & Coffee, but here are my recommendations.
↪️ Hydrate and eat before you cafinate in morning
➡️swap black tea/coffee in evenings for the hot coco drink above OR early grey/herbal teas which have no caifein🫖
