We had an amazing time exploring our brand new site in Barna Woods. With new and returning participants, imagination and creativity thrived in our first session back.
Barna is such a magical place with a grounding energy that really stays with you even after our first adventure.

Such a fun day with the girls from St Louise de Marillac in Ballyfermot. Secound week in, and they are really diving straight into forest school. We've been busy creating nature journals, foraging , chilling in our hammocks and of course some hot chocolate.
It's been a glorious day so far each Monday. I really feel Spring coming in now.

There's something really magical about forest school at this time of year. This Monday we had such a fabulous day with low set sun Ray coming through the trees.
It's also the time of year for gathering around the fire when darkness arrives.
Cooking and stories become a priority, and that lovely sense of community and togetherness is so strong in our little forest school tribe.

Last Monday was all about the introduction of cleaving and making furniture for the fairies in Terryland Forest Park.
Fellow forest school leader and artist Suzanne guided everyone in exploring natural dyes.
So much imagination and intent went into this craft. It's great to be able to present an activity and watch it evolve with all the participants.

It was such a great first day at our forest school in Terryland Forest Park that we didn't have time for many photos. We made blackberry jam, which we foraged on a nature walk and plenty of exploring in our new site.
A few places left, so please get in contact in you would like to join our Sìol na nÒg tribe .
