We had a full house today at the for Venture Out's Information, Networking and Consultation event.

It was a great opportunity to share and celebrate the work we do, while gathering information to help inform the development of our 2027-2030 strategic plan.

Thanks to everyone for attending, we look forward to inviting everyone back at the end of the summer to launch our plan and celebrate our 10th anniversary!

What an amazing week we've just had on our recent
Ember Wilderness Based personal development expedition.

12 participants from the recovery community took on the challenge - hiking and camping through Connemara, while engaging in our innovative & experiential personal development programme.

It was a week full of learning, adventure, fun, challenge and reflection.

We'd like to thank Wilderness Ireland for funding this impactful and transformational programme through their community fund

And we'd also like to thank and Wrdatf Regional Recovery for helping us recruit and support participants into and through the course, along with for letting us use the community bus to transport participants to and from the mountains

Venture Out were honoured to be asked to present on our work and approach using sport, physical activity and nature engagement to affect positive change.

This week, we're delivering our Wilderness Ireland funded Ember Wilderness Based Personal Development expedition 🤝

For a full week, 12 participants from the recovery community are taking on the challenge 💪

They will hike & camp through the wildest and most remote areas of connemara while also engaging in our innovative, therapeutic personal development programme.🤟

An incredible environment for self reflection, recharging the batteries, action planning and personal development!👍
