Looking forward to working with the Irish Refugee Council
Again this week, delivering our Ember expedition programme with 12 of their young adults.

For the 3 day programme, the participants will be hiking and camping through Connemara while engaging in a personal development programme designed to help them develop healthy habits and coping strategies to promote their wellbeing.

We've really enjoyed working alongside all the young people of Ballinrobe and Tourmakeady over the past few months supporting them to create their mental health toolkit.

This project aims to create a youth led toolkit, providing a source of information, support and advice for all young people, helping them protect and promote their own health and wellbeing.

Thanks to all the organisations that support the impactful work we do 🙏

We've had a fantastic month of July to date, with so much activity taking place across all areas of our organisation.

We continue to deliver our adventure therapy 1-2-1 supports on an outreach basis across the region
Thanks Community Foundation Ireland and Tusla for funding these impactful interventions👏

We've welcomed lots of groups to our urban adventure hub, supporting individuals with varying needs to try out different outdoor activities
Thanks Galway and Roscommon Education and Training Board (GRETB) and Galway Sports Partnership for helping make this project a reality 💪

We welcomed HopeSpace Connacht Rugby and AIB down to the hub to celebrate funding success🙌

We were delighted to work with Ollscoil na Gaillimhe | University of Galway and their students union, delivering a health and wellbeing experience with their staff

And we were so grateful for all the volunteers from PwC Ireland for their help painting and planting 🙏

We look forward to another busy period ahead as we continue to positively impact lives through outdoir activity, nature engagement and Therapeutic supports

We've had a very positive few weeks securing a number of funding opportunities from a wide range of funding bodies and initiatives

We'd like to thank Tusla for providing funding to help us establish a youth advisory panel, allowing us capture the youth voice in our mission to continously improve our services to the young people in their care

Thanks also to the HSE and The National Lottery for funding us to deliver a number of programmes with disadvantaged and marginalised groups at our Urban Adventure Hub in Galway City.

We've also secured funding through the toyshow appeal to scale our hub, expanding our reach and increasing our impact.

And finally, we'd like to thank Galway City Council for their support through both their Creative Communities and Local enhancement Programme funds to purchase capital and deliver programmes.
