Our new First Years continued their Belonging Plus Programme today with a busy and exciting day of settling into life in Beneavin!
Students learned more about their journals and timetables, organised their books and lockers, and took part in lots of fun activities, including music workshops, origami and an auction.
We also continued our special origami heart activity, where students wrote a personal message reflecting on their first day, their hopes for what they will learn and achieve in Beneavin, and a message to their future selves.
As part of the activity, we have kept one heart from each student safe. These hearts will be returned to them when they graduate, giving them the chance to open their own message from their first days in secondary school and reflect on how far they have come.
