Our Cabra History Class enjoyed a fascinating visit to the GPO Museum last week in partnership with Cabra Library.
Students explored one of Ireland’s most important historic sites and learned about the events of the 1916 Rising through interactive exhibits, personal stories, and historical artefacts. The visit brought history to life and provided a deeper understanding of the people and events that helped shape modern Ireland.
A big thank you to Cabra Library for supporting this wonderful learning opportunity. It was an engaging and memorable day for everyone involved.

Our Cabra English Language class recently enjoyed a wonderful educational visit to Dáil Éireann at the invitation of Ivana Bacik TD, Leader of the Labour Party.
The visit gave students a unique opportunity to learn about Ireland’s democratic process, explore the historic surroundings of Leinster House, and gain a greater understanding of how decisions are made at national level.
For many of our students, it was a memorable experience and an important opportunity to engage with Irish civic and political life. We would like to thank Ivana Bacik TD for her warm welcome and for making this visit possible.

Recently, 40 students visited Arbour Hill Cemetery, the final resting place of the leaders of the 1916 Rising, including the seven signatories of the Proclamation. The visit provided an opportunity to reflect on this important chapter in Irish history and the sacrifices made in the pursuit of independence.
The group also visited the UN Veterans Memorial and Museum, where they learned about Ireland's long and proud contribution to United Nations peacekeeping missions around the world.
A wonderful educational experience enjoyed by all 40 students from our Finglas and Cabra History classes.
