Early Years Manager
(Permanent, 37 Hours per week)

Riverbank Community Childcare are excited to recruit a determined and passionate Manager for our high quality childcare service. The Manager will over-see and coordinate all aspects of the efficient operation of the service to the highest quality standards.

Essential criteria:
• A relevant Third Level Qualification at a minimum of Level7 is essential (Early Childcare Studies/Early Childhood Care/Education). Level 8 or 9 desirable.
• Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role in an Early Years setting
• Excellent knowledge of child protection and safeguarding
• Good financial planning, budgeting and IT skills
• Knowledge of Government policy and relevant legislation: “Childcare Act 1991(Early Years Services) (Amendment) Regulations 2016 and Regulations of School Age Service” to ensure the service is compliant with Pobal, Tusla, and DES
• Dedicated to prioritizing a child-centered curriculum
• Excellent communication skills in working with staff, parents and the Management Committee
• Experience in supporting and managing a team of early years professionals
