Mini Music

Mini Music is an action-packed music workshop experience for babies and young children aged 3 months to 8 years old. These classes are bookable at www.nch.ie.

The 30-minute classes take place on Mondays and Thursdays in the School of Music. Carefully designed to suit each of the age groups, these classes are fun and accessible with foot-tapping, memorable tunes! The School of Music also runs Mini Music in The National Concert Hall every Saturday. Each of the Mini Music sessions is led by a highly trained facilitator, using tuned and untuned percussion i

nstruments and of course the one instrument we all have – the voice. The sessions are held over three terms, so there is a real sense of development for all participants. With the exception of the Mini Maxi classes, all children should be accompanied by an adult. Class Age Group

Our Spring Term is now open for booking!

Our new term will begin on Friday 13th March and will run for six weeks. The cost for the full term is €84.

Classes are held at the Churchtown School of Music, located in the Village Centre, Dundrum.

Our fun, gentle and engaging music classes are specially designed for babies and toddlers, helping to support early development through song, rhythm and movement.

It’s almost Pancake Tuesday, and we’ve got a fun little song to celebrate—set to the tune of Skip to My Lou! 🎵

Sing along with your little one and try these engaging actions to make it extra fun! 👶🎶

✨ Pop a little pancake in the pan
👏 Clap or pat a steady beat on baby’s hands or tummy

✨ Toss a little pancake in the air
⬆️ Raise baby up high like you’re flipping a pancake

✨ Sprinkle on the sugar with a sprinklety sprink
🤗 Tickle baby gently all over—like tiny sugar sprinkles!

✨ Squeeze on the lemon with a big squeeze
