ISMA UK-EIRE - Menyambut Hari Mental Sedunia Dengan Saling Menjaga Kebajikan Antara Kita

Dublin, 10 Oktober 2020 - Biro Luar Negara (BLN) ISMA cawangan Ireland telah menganjurkan aktiviti ‘Warming The Soul’ yang merupakan aktiviti tahunan yang dijalankan oleh BLN ISMA di serata Eropah.

Aktiviti ini bertujuan untuk memupuk sikap kepekaan terhadap keperluan dan kehidupan masyarakat sekeliling dan menyemai sikap suka bersedekah seperti yang digalakkan oleh Rasulullah S.A.W.

“Dan (ingatlah), apa jua yang kamu buat dari jenis-jenis kebaikan, maka sesungguhnya Allah sentiasa mengetahuiNya (dan akan membalas dengan sebaik-baiknya).” (Al-Baqarah: 215).

Seramai 12 orang sukarelawan pelajar Malaysia di Dublin telah menyertai program ini. Mereka dibahagikan kepada beberapa kumpulan kecil bagi memastikan garis panduan COVID-19 yang ditetapkan oleh Kerajaan Ireland sentiasa dipatuhi. Pihak penganjur juga memastikan pemakaian pelitup muka sepanjang masa, pemakaian hand sanitiser dan juga penjarakan sosial sentiasa dijaga.

Bagi menjadikan aktiviti ini lebih menarik, para peserta diberikan beberapa misi untuk diselesaikan seperti “Ice Breaking”, “Exchange Wisdom Card”, “Fill The Bag Up to 5 Euro”, “Feeding the Homeless” dan “Feedback and Reflection”. Proses pembelian dan pembungkusan makanan dan minuman dilakukan mengikut kumpulan masing-masing. Setiap kumpulan mengagihkan makanan diserata bandar Dublin mengikut kawasan yang telah ditetapkan.

Para sukarelawan berasa insaf dan gembira kerana dapat menolong meringankan beban golongan yang memerlukan. Mereka juga berasa lebih empati terhadap golongan gelandangan di samping meningkatkan rasa syukur dalam diri mereka.

[ Book Donation Drive Update ]

We are absolutely thrilled to share that we now have raised a whooping total of £362.56 since the launch of this donation drive. We are beyond grateful to all of you who have shared and showed strong support for our campaign for these past months.

Book Donation Project FAQs

What is ?
The is ISMA UK-EIRE and Warming The Soul's initiative to contribute books to schools in need in Malaysia. A lot of schools are currently struggling to fund everyday recourses, and we aim of getting £1000 worth of books into school across the country.

Where is my money channelled to?
All proceeds will be channelled to the schools in need in Malaysia and will be used to buy books of children literature genres including non-fiction, science fiction, tarbiah and any books that is requested by the schools and it will also covers the book's handling and shipping cost.

How long will this project go on for?
This year we will close the project on 1st June 2019 and we will visit the schools over the summer break to give out the books! Our long-term vision is for the to continue indefinitely. After a year, we'll pass the reins to the new committee and hopefully it will go as long as possible.
