The main object for which the Company is established is to promote horse riding and related activities by adopting a structured training program and providing trained personnel to assist and encourage the youth, long-term unemployed and disadvantaged of the community to develop their equine skills.

Team COEC took part in the VHI Women's Mini Marathon in support of our Equine Development, Welfare & Retirement Fund.
A special mention to Kirsty McKenna Keogh, Chloe Lawlor and Nichole Murray, who completed the 10km run, while the rest of the team took part in the walk.- and yes we made amazing time!
Together, we've raised over €3,000 so far, and we're incredibly grateful to everyone who has donated, shared our fundraiser, or supported us along the way.

One more sleep!
Training is still in action. We are halfway to our €5000 target. We are so grateful to everyone who has donated and supported the amazing ladies from Cherry Orchard taking part in the Marathon so far. Look out for a Horse in the marathon if you’re taking part and make sure to come over to say hi!

Intercultural Day 2026
A fantastic day in the Cherry Orchard Community Garden filled with food, fun, music, dancing, and community spirit.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day happen and to all who came along and took part. It was wonderful to see so many people coming together to celebrate culture, community, and connection.
