📢 *Bag2School Clothing Collection*

The Parents Association Committee are running a Bag2School collection and would really appreciate your support!

Have a clear-out and donate any unwanted textiles while helping raise funds for the school and promoting recycling with the children. ♻️
LauraLynn Children’s Hospice will also receive an extra 10% from Bag2School.

✅ We accept:
• Adult & children’s clothes
• Paired shoes
• Hats, handbags, scarves, belts & ties
• Bras & socks
•Jewellery

❌ We cannot accept:
• Bedding, curtains or towels
• Duvets, pillows or cushions
• Teddies
• Phones, tablets, etc.
• Off-cuts or crested uniforms

All items must be good quality for reuse.

Please return your bag (or bags!) — any type of bag is fine. Feel free to ask family, friends and neighbours to donate too!

🎄🎄 Christmas Raffle 2025 🎄🎄

Our annual Christmas Raffle fundraiser raised €1,515 to buy resources and activities for the children. Thank you for your support. Please find a list of our prize winners, the children who sold the winning tickets and our sponsors. Thanks again to all our generous sponsors.

A huge thank you to our Parents Association Committee and Paula for organising and hosting the raffle.

The Board of Management of Corduff National School in Lusk wishes to advise that application forms to enrol Junior Infant pupils in our mainstream class for 2026-2027 will be available on our website www.corduffns.ie or by calling into the school from Monday 3rd November.

Completed applications must be received by 12.30pm on Friday 21st November 2025.

Information on enrolment in our new special class for children with autism will be published at a later date.

Our Parents Association Committee is asking for your help with the Christmas Raffle, which is our biggest fundraiser every year. If your family, a business or another individual can sponsor a raffle prize, please provide details in this form -> https://forms.gle/GuaR7sR3oxcXP8jH9 All sponsors will be acknowledged. We need these details by Wednesday 26th November so that we can list them on the raffle tickets. If you can't sponsor a prize, we hope you may be able to support the school by buying or selling raffle tickets in December. We will use the money raised to purchase 3 new Chromebooks for the children and repair up to 10 other Chromebooks.

Reminder that our first Bag2School fundraiser is this week. You can drop your filled bags of used textiles/clothes into the school hall tomorrow/Wednesday 8th October at 1:40pm, 2:40pm or in the evening at 8:15pm for 10 minutes. The van will arrive to weigh and collect the bags at 10:15am on Thursday 9th, so please drop your bags into the hall before 10:15am on Thursday.

Paul, Ciara and Liz from Lusk Junior and Senior National Schools paid a welcome visit to Corduff NS today to support Paula on the Fórsa picket line. Please continue to show your support for Paula at 9am. Now, more than ever, she needs your support and encouragement.

Rain or shine, táimid ag seasamh le Paula. We are standing with our Secretary Paula during the industrial action by the School Secretary and School Caretaker Branches of the Fórsa Trade Union. Please show your support at 9am every morning.

Don’t forget our AGM is tomorrow night from 7:45pm.

All parents are invited to attend. We have a great committee who are always looking for new members. It's a great way to meet other parents and help fundraise for the school. Minimal meetings are held throughout the year where most planning is done via WhatsApp. We would encourage all parents and guardians to attend. Thanks for your support.

Reminder our Bag2school collection is this Tuesday at 7:45pm or at 9am on Wednesday.

We are holding our first Bag2sSchool fundraiser on Tuesday 8th October. Drop off at the school hall anytime from 7:45-8:15pm. If you can’t make it then bags will be accepted at drop off on Wednesday morning.
