TU Dublin Musical Society This is the offical page for all things Musical Soc! We'll hold workshops that cover all the disciplines of musical theatre.
In second semester we will be running a full scale musical and throughout the year small scale productions and events will be run.

Chill out after the stress of auditioning by heading down to our first society event! A Chick-Flick themed trivia night on the 12th of February in Doyles pub, so you better get those old Drew Barrymore DVDs out and start revising!
It's €20 per table, groups should be 4-5 people. We hope to see you all there! 💕💕

Get yourselves ready, because auditions are happening soon!!
It is important that everyone attends both days so we can get an idea of the interest and the amazing skills we'll be working with, but don't worry if you're a fantastic singer with two left feet! Just do your best each day.
For the singing auditions we ask that you prepare your favourite song from the musical (please provide your own backing track!) and you will be asked to read some of the script. Don't worry about prepping your own choreography as we will have something for you to try out at the dance call.

If singing and dancing isn't your thing there's plenty of ways to get involved with our musical so iety and with the production itself without having to get up onstage! We need people to help out with all the roles listed above, so if this is something you'd be interested in let us know!!

The TU Dublin Musical Society are delighted to announce that the musical we will be doing in 2020 is Legally Blonde!! We can't wait to get started on the show!
Auditions will be held at the start of February so rest up over the break and be ready to get your dancing shoes on once we're back! More details will be announced over the next coming weeks.

Dance soc have their Christas Appeal event on 5th of December in Gleeson Hall, Kevin Street.
We would love to have a group participate from musical soc. A minimum of 5 people would need to prep a song or a dance for a performance. It’s a bit of craic and there will be Awards for participants ✌️✨
