Companies are pouring billions into AI.
Yet despite this, McKinsey reports that only 1% of organisations feel truly mature in their AI adoption.
At the same time, most managers are expected to lead this transformation with little to no support.
We are optimising technology while underinvesting in the humans responsible for making that technology actually work.
Because adoption is not a technology problem. It is a leadership gap.
New tools rarely fail because they do not work.
They fail because people are not brought along.
And that responsibility sits with people managers.
Yet we rarely equip them to lead change:
• Bringing teams with them
• Handling resistance
• Turning strategy into everyday action
• Building trust through uncertainty
Then we question why adoption is slow and results fall short.
Imagine what becomes possible if we invested in leaders the same way we invest in AI.

This year’s conference brings together leaders shaping the future of work around a central theme of "people, purpose, and performance" - a conversation that feels particularly timely.
If you’re attending, we’d welcome the opportunity to meet you at our stand.
We’ll be introducing STAR® Manager, a new approach to Leadership Development developed by Notion - STAR Manager, designed to support organisations in building capable, confident managers who can deliver sustainable performance. We’re currently bringing this to Ireland in collaboration with APMG International.
If you’re exploring new ways to strengthen leadership capability, align people strategy with business outcomes, or rethink how managers are developed, feel free to drop by for a conversation or arrange a time in advance.

A recent Skills Survey from Ibec highlights a growing challenge for businesses: 82% of organisations report significant skills gaps that are affecting productivity, innovation and competitiveness.
While the report focuses on Ireland, the reality is familiar across Europe. As digital transformation and AI accelerate, many organisations are struggling to find people with the experience and capabilities needed to adapt.
Some key challenges identified include:
• Difficulty recruiting experienced talent
• Skills gaps preventing organisations from adopting new technologies
• SMEs lacking the time and resources to invest in strategic upskilling
• Training budgets focused on immediate operational needs rather than future skills
One thing is clear: workforce development and continuous learning are becoming essential for organisations that want to remain competitive.
Training in areas such as project management, digital service/product management, agile delivery, change leadership and process improvement can help organisations build the capabilities needed to navigate rapid change.
We support organisations in closing those gaps.
Investing in skills today helps organisations prepare for the challenges of tomorrow.

The RACI Matrix is an essential tool in project management, designed to clarify roles and responsibilities across teams and tasks. It stands for Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed, helping ensure everyone knows who’s doing what, avoiding confusion and miscommunication. 🎯
Responsible 💪: The person(s) who carry out the task or deliverable.
Accountable 🏆: The individual who owns the task and ensures it’s completed correctly.
Consulted 💬: Those whose opinions or expertise are required before decisions are made.
Informed 📢: People who need updates but aren’t actively involved in ex*****on.
Using a RACI matrix enhances project efficiency by ensuring tasks are clearly assigned, accountability is established, and only necessary people are consulted or kept in the loop. This clarity reduces delays, improves collaboration, and ensures smoother project delivery! 🚀✨
Whether working on large or small projects, a RACI matrix can make team roles and responsibilities crystal clear.

The 5 Phases of Project Management: A Step-by-Step Guide to Success 🚀
Every successful project follows a structured path, moving through five key phases. Understanding these stages can help you manage your projects more effectively and achieve your goals with confidence. Let’s break down each phase and its key objectives:
Initiation 📝✨
The journey begins with the initiation phase, where you define the project at a high level. This is the time to develop a project charter 📄, identify your stakeholders 🤝, and outline your main objectives and deliverables 🎯. Getting this right helps secure the approval needed to move forward.
Planning 🗺️🧩
Once you have the green light, it's time to plan! In this phase, you'll detail your project’s scope 🔍, schedule 📅, budget 💰, and resources 🛠️. Creating a solid project plan 📑, defining roles and responsibilities 🧑💼, and identifying potential risks ⚠️ are crucial steps. The goal? To build a roadmap that guides your team from start to finish.
Ex*****on ⚙️🚀
Now comes the action! During the ex*****on phase, the focus is on delivering the project’s outputs 📦. This involves coordinating people and resources 👥🔄, managing stakeholder expectations 😊, and ensuring everything is on track according to the plan. Keep your eye on the prize: achieving project goals while maintaining quality 🏆.
Monitoring and Controlling 📊🔍
As your project progresses, continuous monitoring is key to success 📈. Track progress ✅, manage any changes in scope 🔄, and report on performance 📊 to make sure everything stays aligned with your objectives.
The aim is to spot any issues early and make necessary adjustments 🛠️.
Closure 🎯🏁
The final phase is all about wrapping things up neatly 🎁. This is the time to finalise all deliverables 📦, obtain formal acceptance from stakeholders 📝, conduct a post-project review 🔍, and release project resources 🚪. Don't forget to document lessons learned for future projects 📚!
By understanding these five phases, you can navigate the complexities of project management with confidence and lead your team to success! 🌟🚀
