The 9th Dublin International Arabic Film Festival is delighted to be returning to in-person events this year! Running from 23-26 November.
This year's festival we have a fantastic line up of films with a great mix of genres to choose from. Stories that will make you laugh, cry and think.
Our opening night will be in the Stella Cinema's in Rathmines and all other films will be screened at our venue partners at Chester Beatty Dublin.
Gaza mon amour is a Romantic Drama by Tarzan Nasser and Arab Nasser
Issa, a 60-year-old fisherman in Gaza has never had the courage to tell Siham he's in love with her. When he finds a ph***ic sculpture of the Greek god Apollo in his fishing net, he believes his luck may have turned around.

Irish director, screenwriter and producer Jim Sheridan ("My Left Foot", "In the Name of the Father", "Brothers"...) is to make his documentary series debut with “Murder at the Cottage: The Search for Justice for Sophie”, based on the murder of television producer Sophie Toscan du Plantier in West Cork, Ireland, in 1996. The five-part series is produced by Hell’s Kitchen, in association with Comcast-owned Sky's Sky Studios unit (it's the studio's first in-house documentary series) and Sheridan and Donal MacIntyre of Dare Films.
