Honey Bee's had the best morning yesterday splashing in the Garden at their pool party 😎

We had the best time splashing, jumping and cooling down in the paddling pools. What a great way to spend a sunny day! ☀️

What a beautiful morning Little Explorers had making their own perfume 🥰

We spoke about flowers last week and Ivy said we could make perfume! Christine got us our containers, Deirdre brought in some wild flowers and Jen brought in different oils and fruits. We went off into the community to find some more. We went to Jens mam's garden where we found beautiful roses and evergreens!🍋🍋‍🟩🌸🌼

We began our perfume making and we even tasted the fruits. After nearly an hour of making and unlocking our senses our creations were finished and named and ready to bring home.💐🌷🎋🌱

The Garden Room had the best time on their final week of Forest School ☀️🌿🌲

We started our day singing our favourite songs and chanting 'Standing Like a Tree!' We played a parachute game in the sun and then we went on a blindfolded forest walk 😱 We used our other senses to guide us through the forest!

In the forest we enjoyed painting, using the swings and hammocks, playing with clay and making magic wands! We finished our day with a fire 🤩🔥 We learned all about fire safety and we got to enjoy yummy hot dogs and smores🥰

We really loved our time in Forest School, and for some of us, this was our last experience of it before going to primary school. An amazing, holistic and experience was had by all and we have all learned, grown and taken so much from it 💚

Twinkle Toes have really been making the most of the good weather 😎☀️

We had so much fun exploring our local parks and playgrounds, going on sunny walks and splashing in the paddling pools on our pool day yesterday 🥳🤩

We kept the fun going, and took a break from the sun inside with some straw painting, where we got to blow the paint to make a beautiful masterpiece 🥰

We enjoyed making a water slide, splashing our friends (and teachers!) and playing in the sun. What a nice way to stay cool in the hot weather 🥳☀️

Pixies had the best time splashing and playing in the water during their pool day 😎😍 We loved playing in the water with some of our favourite toys and animals.

Teddy Bears have been very interested in super heroes, so they decided to have their very own Super Hero Day last Friday 😍🥳

We took part in lots of activities like our spider web tuff tray, colouring our favourite heroes and we even had a super tea time! 🤩

Twinkle Toes had the best time celebrating their friend Kinsley's 3rd Birthday last week 🤩 Happy Birthday, from all of your friends and teachers in Twinkle Toes 🥳🎉

😃Pool day in Active Learners. 😃
The boys and girls in Active Learners had a fun pool day yesterday. It was a great way to cool down and have fun in the warm weather. They all worked together to pump up the paddling pool and fill them with water before having a great time splashing and having playing together. After all of the fun they dried off in the sunshine while enjoying some yummy cool pops !

On Saturday Kelda , Anne, Chloe and Jessica attended DCU as part of the Annual Student Mentor Appreciation and Awards Ceremony. Anne had been nominated for an award for her guidance of work placement students from DCU's Early years degree course in our setting. The day was spent attending talks, engaging with workshops and connecting with others for the Early years sector. Anne along with the other nominees was presented with a certificate recognising her work !
A big well done to Anne for her nomination and thank you to DCU for recognising all of the hard work that is not only done in our centre but also the early years sector as a whole DCU
