Lusk National Schools

It was a very special day in Lusk S.N.S. today for our 6th class boys and girls. The children's Grandparents were invited in for a visit to chat about school in times past and of course for a cup of tea and a biscuit! 😊☕

⚽️ Well done to our fantastic 5th and 6th class boys and girls who proudly represented the school at the recent FAI Fingal Primary 5 qualifiers.

Our two boys’ teams played a total of 8 games, winning 5 and drawing 1. They showed great teamwork throughout and scored some wonderful goals along the way.

Our girls’ team had to battle the elements along with the other schools to remained unbeaten all the way to the final, where they secured victory in a nail-biting penalty shootout.

A special mention to 5th class student Isabelle who, after scoring her penalty, stepped into goal due to an injury to our goalkeeper and saved the final penalty to seal the win. An incredible moment and a brilliant team effort from all involved! 👏⚽️

Here are some budding artists from Ms. Hogan and Ms. Canny's class. The children are painting above their heads while lying down to get a sense of the challenges Michaelangelo faced when painting the roof of the Sistine Chapel. 😃

The Boys and Girls GAA team made the short journey to Rush to play matches against Rush NS. This was some of the kids first ever GAA match and they did themselves and the school proud 👏 Well done to all involved! 😃

The admissions process for new Junior Infants school year 26/27 begins at Lusk Junior NS on Monday 3rd November for three weeks. The pre- enrolment form can be accessed under the admissions tab on the school website or collected from the school office.

Lots of spooky Halloween fun in Lusk SNS today. Pumpkin carving, dress up, tangled spiderweb games and comhrá agus craic. Lots of Tricks and Treats! 👻🎃🧙‍♀️ Happy Halloween to all our fantastic boys and girls 🎃👻🧙‍♀️

We were busy supporting Round Towers Lusk GAA in preparation for the big final on Sunday. The whole school competed in a colouring/poster competition whilst we had a Towers Blue Day on Friday. Our three overall winners received either a football or RTL jersey kindly donated by the club. With so many past pupils involved we're behind the lads. Towers Abú

Congratulations to former student Katie Lovely on reaching this incredible milestone for Bohemian Football Club. 👏👏👏The very best of luck to her in the final of the Sports Direct Women’s FAI Cup in Tallaght Stadium on October 19.⚽️⚽️⚽️

❤️🖤Katie Lovely was presented with a commemorative jersey after our victory over Cork City this past weekend to mark her 100th appearance for the club.

Katie is our longest-serving women’s player and has been with Bohemians since we first entered the Women’s National League in 2020.
