Prestigious undergraduate economics journal showcasing the highest calibre of academic writing. Yet the S.E.R. while making numerous friends along the way.
Since its foundation in 1987, the Student Economic Review has proved a popular forum for undergraduate economic students to channel the knowledge and skills they have learned while at Trinity College Dublin and to produce their own essays, which (if successful) will be published in our annual journal at the end of Hilary Term. is much more than the publication of undergraduate essays (as great an
honour this is). Each year workshops, debates and guest speakers (covering a broad range of topics not solely limited to the field of economics) are organised by the S.E.R. The unparallel interaction between students and professors in the S.E.R. has helped create one of the most prestigious undergraduate societies in the world. Countless undergraduates have discovered the foundations of strong academic and professional careers through their interaction with the S.E.R. Taking part in the S.E.R. is an opportunity not to be missed, so I would encourage all to get involved; join the debates, attend the workshops, submit an essay and apply for a board position in your Junior Sophister year! I and the committee would like to extend a special thank you to all our sponsors including; Harry Hartford, Vinay Nair, Alan Gray, Bord na Mona and Aoife Cunningham. This year our launch will be held on March 24 2015 in the GMB. We look forward to seeing you there!
