Let’s talk brown pigments in the lip

Most brown pigments hold Carbon black, and when the color black fades it turns that greyish color.
This is why some eyebrows when faded look grey.
Most natural lip pigments have a cool tone in them & putting a brown eyebrow pigment directly into the lip will effect the way the lip heals, as it might heal down grey toned.
Working with brown tones can be difficult if they aren’t used correctly or mixed with other colors.
When I do a brown toned lip I use .colors Choco Mauve as a base tone about 10 drops and then go in with a drop or even half a drop of a brown pigment it could be from any brand but it’s the smallest amount to give depth into choco mauve.
This works for me so find what works for you. Make sure to only use the tiniest amount of a brown pigment as all brown pigments include carbon black.

My client has beautiful natural lips, but overtime with age our lips tend to lose the color and that’s what has happened to my beautiful client.
We used soft pink/coral tone in a fully saturated style of lip blush, focusing on the boarders to blend in seamlessly with the pink tone of her lip ✨

We love a TRENDING lip đź¤
As a PMU artist it is my JOB to make sure that im skilled enough to pull of certain “trends”.. ombre lip blush as been around just as long as a full saturated lip but it wasn’t called ombre lip blush it was called “Tattoo Lip Liner”.
Ombre lip blush is just a more advanced and seamless way of doing “Lip Liner”.
It in fact is not a trend it’s just we see it rising to popularity over a fully saturated lip. Most of us just wear lipliner and don’t want to commit to full lip blush, so Ombre Lip Blush once done correctly will look so beautiful healed as a “Lip Liner” look ✨
