The launch event will take place at the dlr LexIcon Venue, Dún Laoghaire on Saturday February 21st at 14.00, featuring a showcase of young musicians from Music Generation DLR youth music programs.

What a day we had out in the Helix watching Jorja and Finn from our DJ program at The Beat & Loughlinstown Community Rooms performing at Child Talks 2025

What a day at Child Talks 2025! 🎙️Music Generation was buzzing to be part of the Ombudsman For Children event at The Helix, Dublin. 🎧DJ Silk & DJ J-Rizz (aka Finn & Jorja from Music Gen DLR) kicked things off with an electric opening set that had over 1,000 young people on their feet. 💥 The vibe was explosive and yes...they signed autographs on and off stage! 🧢✍️ 🎷Then came the surprise finale! Music Generation Waterford Wind & Brass Ensemble stormed the crowd flashmob style playing iconic 90s tunes as they made their way to the stage. 🎺The energy was WILD! 👏We are so proud of the young musicians and DJs! Massive well done to everyone involved. 🙌Congratulations to all the young speakers and amazing hosts Mark the Science Guy and Ben. 👏 Thank you to the Ombudsman for Children's Office for inviting us to perform at this incredible event. 🎙️Child Talks is all about giving young people a platform to share their experiences and speak up about what matters most to them. A big day tomorrow for two of our young musicians who will be performing at the Helix for event! Finn & Jorja take part in our Free Saturday Jam Hub DJ program in The Beat & Loughlinstown Community Rooms! Thank you Music Generation Ireland for helping provide such an amazing opportunity for these young people!

The Jam Hub provides a free space for young people to make music, collaborate and learn.

The Loughlinstown Jam Hub will start Saturday, September 27th at Loughlinstown Community Rooms and continue every Saturday from 10-12am.
