Today, we lost another one of the legendary Ming Ch'uan family. Peter Dunne was one of those names that used to crop up in my early days of training with Master John Fanning, as an example of what we should all be striving towards. At that time, he was one of only two, students to have achieved the grade of third degree Black belt. Such was the impression he made, his name was still mentioned, many years after he left the club.
I was lucky enough to have trained with Peter many years later, although only for a very brief, all too short, time. He was indeed a true gentleman and his inspiration has been passed down along the line over the years, student to student.
On behalf of Ming Ch'uan, our very sincere sympathies go to Peter's family and friends, especially to our M.C. brother, Keith, his nephew (I know he was much more than that)
May he rest in peace. Our respect, Peter Dunne.
