Travel from Dublin to Wales to see Conwy Castle

Fun day in Dublin which apparently means black pool- named by the Vikings. First a bus tour of Dublins highlights and then to St Patrick’s Cathedral which is not Catholic but Anglican (who knew?) and then free time to shop and eat. Wim and I broke away to wander the streets and get in trouble. Dinner at Sinnott’s Bar.

Day 1- Dublin, Ireland
Arrived about noon local time, met the TD and then headed to Trinity College to see the Book of Kells. Brief walk around the old city and then to dinner- hot Irish stew, brownie a la mode.

To my past travelers and future ones---

The 2020 trip will be my last EF trip with students. Time for me to pass the torch to Deborah Few as tour leader.
