4th Class had an unforgettable experience taking part in a movie making course in groups at Trinity College through the Trinity Access Programme.

Working alongside their mentors, they explored every stage of the filmmaking process, from planning and script development to filming, acting, and editing.

The day was filled with creativity, teamwork, laughter, and plenty of fun. Students showed excellent behaviour throughout and embraced every challenge with enthusiasm.

The highlight was watching the finished films together and celebrating their achievements. I think we may have future Oscar winning directors or actors among the class! 🍿 🎥

This week, we’re celebrating Wellbeing Week in school, with a focus on the activities and habits that support both our physical and mental wellbeing.

Yesterday, each class enjoyed a Wellbeing Walk around Drimnagh, giving the boys an opportunity to get some fresh air, stay active, and spend time chatting with their classmates.

Today was our much-anticipated Break the Rules Day, where the boys enjoyed a few special treats, wore their own clothes, and even got to choose where they sat for the day!

We were also delighted to welcome PT Rob, who put the lads through their paces with a fun and energetic exercise session.

The excitement doesn’t stop there! Over the next three weeks, we have plenty of enjoyable activities planned as part of our attendance initiative, encouraging and rewarding full attendance throughout the month of June. We’re looking forward to lots of fun, participation, and positive experiences for everyone involved.

This morning, our 3rd and 4th class pupils headed out to cheer on the FTD Brothers during their last marathon. The excitement was incredible as the children waved their posters, clapped, and shouted encouragement while the runners passed by.

The FTD Brothers are currently taking on an extraordinary challenge: 32 marathons in 32 counties in 32 days. They are running to raise awareness and vital funds for Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD), a condition that affects the parts of the brain responsible for behaviour, language, and personality.

The boys were so respectful and enthusiastic today, and our whole school continues to cheer on the FTD Brothers every step of the way.

On Monday, 25th May, we brought a team of 13 athletes to compete in the Dublin Primary Schools Athletics Event at the historic Morton Stadium.

The day began with a Parade of Athletes on the track, setting a fantastic tone for the competition ahead. Our boys performed exceptionally well across both track and field events.

We were delighted to celebrate two individual medal winners:

-Dylan (6th Class) – Gold in the Shot Putt
-Tyler (6th Class) – Silver in the High Jump

These were outstanding accomplishments in what proved to be a highly competitive field.
On the track, Casey (6th Class) delivered a superb performance, securing another Gold Medal for our school.

Our relay teams also represented us proudly, with the U12 relay team finishing 3rd in their heat and the U14 team placing 4th.

It was a fantastic day in the sun and we are incredibly proud of all our students. Well done, boys!

A fantastic day spent at Trinity College for our 4th class students.

Through the Trinity Access Programme, the boys were invited in for Nanoscience workshop. They learnt all about electrical circuits, conductors and insulators, graphite and how Scanning Electron Microscopes work.

The boys were super engaged and enthusiastic and were a credit to the school!
