Sensory Skills Intermediate this weekend was something special.
Two full days of calibration, triangulations, aroma recognition, red light focus sessions, serious note-taking and even more serious discussions. Watching everyone move from uncertainty to confident, structured descriptions is always my favourite part. That moment when flavour stops being “nice” or “strong” and becomes precise, shared language, that’s where the magic happens.
Huge respect to this group for the focus, curiosity and willingness to challenge their own perceptions. Sensory work is not about having a “good palate”. It’s about training attention, building memory, and learning to doubt yourself productively.
Proud of you all. Now go taste everything differently.
